Your Eyes:  How do your eyes work?  What are the different parts of the eye?

Laws of Light:  Read and click one of the activities. It is a bit challenging, but if you want to learn about how light works then these are some fun activities to try out!

BBC- Light Reflection Game Help Sarah Jane Rani escape by using a light source and mirrors to reflect light!  A good way of practicing how light is reflected.

Laws of Color : Read and click one of the activities.  Again, this is more than expected on the test, but it is very interesting and fun stuff to check out!

What's It Like to Be Color Blind?:  There is a really neat video (that you can see with parent permission) where a child has interviewed a man who is color blind.  He discusses what he sees and doesn't see, how he feels about being color blind, and how he goes about his day just like everyone else.

NASA Science Files: Kids: Dr. D.'s Lab:  There are experiments you can do at home (adult supervision is necessary) or I highly suggest the simulation on light and color!

BrainPop Jr. - Light Lesson Ideas:  There are lesson ideas for teachers (but you can try them too!) as well as for parents.  For most of BrainPop Jr. you need a subscription to access their content, but you can access this page for free!

Here is a video describing refraction.  It gets into some complicated terms and concepts, but it does show you how refraction works!
